Default Huge tarpon caught

Here is a photo of a huge tarpon caught in NC last week. To give you an idea on how big it really was the angler sitting next to the fish is 6'3" and weighs 290 lbs. Here is his story that was attached to the photo(I guess the angler does not know how to use spell check).

I caught this giant tarpon saterday afternoon while fishing in the pamlico river.we hooked up about 10 minutes before dark and faught it for about an hour and then we finaly got him in the boat.At the time I did not know the state record was 175 pounds or he would have went to the scale.I estimated the fish around 200 pounds.dose any one know what this fish might have weighed ?We got a scale off him and let him go.I caught the fish on 30pound line useing cut croker.
