Default Oregon Inlet Friday

Off the dock at 5 am and ran up to the "000" line, 50 fathoms, and fished up to the "0100" in and out 40 to 200 fathoms. ,Caught 5, 25-30 # gaffers. Nice fish. No bills for us and the fleet bite was scattered. At 3pm started in from 48nm out dead into a brisk sw wind and did we get beat up. Tucked in behind the TagNStick at 20 kts but we got hammered. My old bones are still stiff.. The Mahi was great for dinner last nite....
Watching the hurricane forecast this week...
Regards,

Hard to believe the SP crew got beat up, but it has been nasty T'storm weather here of late. BTW, 20 knots equals average cruise for us with lesser boats!

Glad you guys got a few....

It's that time, let the bill fishing commence!

Edit:

You around and about Sunday June 20th with a few (1) crew?

Call me when you get a chance.

Dave - glad you got some blood on the decks. Heard it was a rough ride in. Did you ever get your bucket back with cleaning supplies???

No offshore Saturday.. I have a "in the Sound" Grandfather trip.
Forecast looks like a SE/swell from Bertha. Be careful on the Bar if outgoing tide.

Yes, I got my bucket back. The dock boys got it when the "Offender" returned to dock. Times must be tough when guy will take my cleaning bucket....
Regards and have Fun..
