Hi folks, I've unexpectedly ended up with two slots open to fish on the Albatross out of Hatteras for a two day tourney. The fishing days are Friday July 11th and Saturday July 12th. This is the Grandslam Billfish tournament and its a lot of fun. This is a small, low pressure (and cost!) tourney.

The cost per angler should be right about $600.00 for the whole thing. This includes the charter for two days, tournament fee, tips, etc. I've got a room booked right on the dock you're welcome to stay at.

Posting to put this BTT. Capt. Fred and I have done this tournament the last two years with Ernie on the Albatross III. It is big fun and one of the best things about it is that you get to spend two days with a guy who has been fishing as mate or captain out of Hatteras for more than 50 years. Ernie likes to teach you about what they do, so you you will learn a lot. This is about as cheap as you will ever get to fish a tournament, too. And who knows, maybe we will finish in the money this year.

By the way, if you are considering it but can't swing the cost let me know. We are now short three people so if you're interested but can't swing the $600 per person get in touch with me and we can work something out. Any help would be appreciated at this point.
