Default ***NEW BOAT TOWING LETTER*** Act Now!!

Hello everyone it is really crunch time for the Boat Towing bills in Raleigh. We need to send as many letters and make as many phone calls to our legislators as we can in the next few days. Please take the time to click on the link read then send the letter. This is extremely important if you trailer your boat in North Carolina. It might not affect you now but it could in the future. The votes in both houses have been unanimous on the boat towing issue. We need to let our legislators and governor know that we are watching what is going on in Raleigh. Please take the time to send this letter and make a few calls. It is crunch time for the Boat towing legislation. Remember that the people working behind the scenes on this represent recreational boaters, Boat Builders, The boating industry in NC, and tourism in North Carolina this effects us all… Thanks

I'm a new arrival to this board and the towing bill posts caught my eye. I have only seen one small blurb in the newspaper relating to it -- apparently it has to do with size of boats which can be towed and a possible requirement for permits based on size ... I can see where this could have a huge impact on those of us who trailer. Where can I find out the specifics of the bill? Thanks
