Default First Boat Towing Bill out!!

The first bill to be sent to be introduced just came out this morning. We will be expecting 2-4 bills for introduction on the boat towing issue. These bills will be up review and then possibly whittled down to one bill. It will be interesting to see what the others will look like. Once we get the bill or bills that will be introduced we will need to get back on the letter sending campaign to get it passed. We will have another form letter ready when this happens. Please read the bills ...Mark

Great job guys. This sounds to me to be just what the Dr ordered. I think I'll still keep the guides off my trailer though so I don't have to buy the permit. This is great news!!!

The current yearly fee is $100. I heard they were going to reduce the cost of the permit. The permit has never been the issue, the no towing at night, Sundays, the day before and after as well as certian holidays as restrictions were the contested part of the permit. There should be at least one or two more bill introduced which will be more detailed..Mark

With the weight issue they presently go be the state laws where you reside. The width I cant tell you fo0r sure but I believe if you are over width it doesn't matter what state you are from...Mark

I'd hate to have one in that 120.000000000000000000001 inch to 120.9999999999999999999999 inch range, because the proposed law doesn't address when those boats can tow...mentions them in both scenarios...but I reckon there aren't too many engineers running for state legislator positions.
