Yeah I saw it online....looks like a couple boats got into them pretty damn good. I'm guessing the ones that ran north caught em. OIFC said one boat had at least 7. Man I'd like to put some of them in the boat.

Here's the picture from pc-

Yeah, there are couple of pretty exciting reports on the Tidalfish offshore board. Hit and Run (a private boat running out of Colington) and Succession (a charter) did well yesterday.

Default big eyes!

Well as it has happened so many times in the past the bite went off about 3:45 sat. 5-10-08 at 3:45 pm, hooked a bonita, boxed a 40 & 30 lb Yellowfin, battled a big eye for 30 minutes and pulled the hook. By this time it was 5:15 in the afternoon!!! 47 miles from the sea bouy! 500 fathoms, 64.2 degree greenish water, yes it is true! left one boat there still fighting his big eye, half dozen other boats caught a few yellowfin and half dozen big eye! fishing way east of the 670 line. Understand that Sunday they smoked them, not sure if it was the same area, but i would bet that it was! 2 people on the boat and dragging 9 baits! made for some interesting times! The boat that i left did land his big eye, i understand that it was in the 150lb class, he returned to pirates cove about 9:30 that night. Until 3:45 only one other bite! Worked a blue one for a few minutes south of the point in 76 degree water!
