Default Fight-N-Lady Report

Well we have been going at it for the last 5 days & even get to fish a couple more this week before the winds stats blowing. All in all it has been pretty decent fishing the last several days we have caught fish every day but it seems we have to try harder some days than we do the others but we have managed decent catches every day but a few have been just awesome days. The highlight of this last run of trips was Thursday when we had Caleb & his family along with Rusty & my son Hunter. It is not every day he gets to go with us & actualy fish but today was his day. We managed to have a decent catch with Mahi & Wahoo we even had enough meat everyone decided to go to the deep & marlin fish for the rest of the day which was un eventful but we new the odds when we made the turn to the deep. Hunter caught the first Wahoo within the first 5 minutes of fishing & it was steady picking until we called it a day. There has been some VERY nice Gaffers that have shown up this week along with some 40-50 Wahoo also. Friday & Saturday we had a group that fished with us last year first thing that was said while leaving the dock was Capt. you remember the 43 Mahi we caught last year we want to do it again. Well we did not do it again but we did catch several & some nice ones at that along with a nice jag of Wahoos to boot so it was another good year for these guys. Sunday we had Jan & his crew again quite a few Mahis but the Hoos were just being mean! Normally when Jan goes something eventful always happens like a Big Marlin attack or a Giant Bluefin blitz (4 at a time) it is always rougher than heck but not this time it was a little snotty ride out we had to dodge a mini Hurricane & a few Waterspouts first thing & then the wind quit blowing & the Mahis went to chewing which came to a quick stop just before lunch when the wind switched directions & started blowing SE but by then the carnage was done we had our meat sure we would have taken more but we were happy. The fish have been very scattered lately one day you will get slammed in 22 Fathoms & the next it will be 150 Fathoms but as long as they bite that is all that matters. Here is a few pics of the last few trips. Enjoy!
