Default Custom kayak for sale

It is located in Chas. SC. I will get additional photos later this week hopefully as well as the list of woods used in the construction as well as the name of the company whose plans were used. The boat is glassed inside and out. The max range for paddler and gear is approx. 250 lbs. if I remember correcttly. If you want a photo of a specific area just let me know. The forward and rear hatch a secured by bungee on the inside and have been weather resistent so far. The boat is light and paddles straight. Price is $6500. I am listing for my dad. He does not use it anymore since he built his flats boat.

Very pretty. Do you know how many man hours were spent on her?

No he didn't keep track but I can tell you just glassing the hull took two of us almost all day.because the roll fiberglass cloth is flat and the hull does not have a flat spot on it. It took us forever to get it right so we could wet it out. I honestly think he has as much time if not more in this project as the 18' flats boat he built that I posted pics. of. When He started all of the wood was 2x8's or similar size and he cut the strips and then did the bead and cove for each strip himself and the diamonds along the edge are individual pieces of teak not stain or anything like that. He built the blue hulled boat beside it also.
