Default What should I do sell or dont sell

I might have a chance to sell my Robalo for around the money I have into it.
I am really not ready to sell it . There are some things I still would like to do to it and I have only had it two years.

On the other side I would really like a 26-30 ft Center Console

Jason

Sale it and upgrade if it doesn't take beans off the table.

Jason: I just had the opportunity to go shopping with the insurance check I got from the loss of my Jupiter 31. I'd had the boat about a year when it was totaled. In August, I went shopping and was able to buy something I'd only been able to dream of a year earlier. Prices on used boats have come way down. The drop varies geographically, with South Florida being the home of the best deals and starving brokers.

If you have an interested buyer, take advantage of the situation. But, while I though I had the Jupiter insured for what I had in it, I was about $20k underinsured in the final analysis. The only thing that saved my hide was the fact that the prices had dropped. I bought a very nice Venture 34 for 10k more than I paid for the Jupiter 31 a year ago. Both are 2002 boats.

Southern Fried's is an open...maybe you should contact him, he has a 27 open. It's for sale..... I've been on it in 6 footers, no, seriously, 6 footers, and we went fishing that day, rainsuits and all, not because of the rain, but because of the swells, hehe.

And Jason, if you can get out for the same money and move up, then I'd say do it...

If you have a buyer and can get what you want sell it. I had a Robalo 2140 and sold it a few years ago for what I wanted to get. They are great boats but not many people are familar with them . Remember it only gets tougher to sell a boat as they get older. I would Sell....Mark

Robert what are you going to get next?...Mark
