I've got some electrician family members so I'm covered there. Hope this site really takes off.

May sound like a dumb question but here it goes. I havent heard of a high water alarm. So if you are getting water in the bilge and the bilge pump isnt working, the water gets to a certain lever and trips an alarm to let you know?
Is that all it does?

yes - costs 50 bucks from cabellas, takes an hour to install and give you precious time to figure things oout when things are going wrong...and it is loud....had a livewell leak on the sensor and you could hear it from a block away......
