Default Plug for Shipyard Island Marina (excellent service)

Last week I priced the 100 hr Verado service kit for a 150 hp engine and the local dealers here were at least $50 higher than they were. I placed my order with them this past weekend and call them on Monday to confirm my order. They did not ship my order until Tuesday because high winds stopped the ferry that runs over to the island. I did not expect my order to be here until next week since they are in Wisconsin and the order did not go out until Tuesday. BTW, I am in Raleigh,NC. Today it arrived in a well packaged box days ahead of when I expected it! Thanks! Thats great service. Shipyard Island Marina rocks! Glad I found their advertisement at The Verado Club. website. Thanks glen e!

I'll agree that SIM did me right. I got 4 oil filters, 2 fuel filters, 6 quarts of LU fluid/2 gallons of motor oil, a prop wrench, a bunch of sealing washers, and Quickleen for my Verado 250, everything for at least 300 hours worth of tune-ups except the spark plugs. A thanks too to GlenE for setting it up through VC as well. There has been no one single person on any of the other powersports forums I am part of that has been more helpful to a product than he has, absolutely one of a kind. I only wish SIM was closer to me as I'm in MA.

shipyard's price list for all verado parts are on a handy PDF file on the opening page of the veradoclub.com

I also might point out Andy is first and foremost a Yamaha authorized dealer... and just does the merc stuff for me - so if you have a Yam, he is also the best place to go....

I'll vote the same way. Andy and Lisa are good people with great service. Help is always available along with great prices. I am a Mercury and Honda fan, but Andy has been good enough that I am actually starting to like Yamahas.

Andy and Lisa are the best. Andy has helped me out big time on a few things. He even called me one day to make sure everything was taken care of. I have NEVER had better service from a service provider and better customer service when it comes to marine products. Forget about service and price..... How about someone who will call you and who cares?? Whats that worth? To me its worth A lot.

I've ordered twice from SIM and each time Andy exceeded my expectations both in terms of service and low price.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.......sometimes it hard to run a engine parts shipping business off an island. Especially this time of year when Lake Michigan is not froze over, but the air temps are cold. They will not run the ferries if there is a chance of water spray going on the decks.

FYI......Here is a link to a web cam for the ferry company. http://http://www.wisferry.com/webcam.html

Thanks to everyone here, our Internet part of our business has really taken off over the last couple of years. We currently are working on some major improvements that I think our customers will like...... whether its Verado owners or Yamaha owners.

Thanks again to everyone for your business !

Andy

P.S. Please put us on your TBR advertisers list should you ever consider that.
