Default Custom Seat Cushion

I would like to have a custom seat cushion made for the RPS on my 2005 Montauk 170. Can anyone recommend a company to do it? I have done some searches but have not found anything. I would like to add another 2 inches of padding for two reasons, 1st is to raise me up some while sitting and two for comfort.

Thanks

Can Whaler provide something like that? It may cost an arm and a leg though, but just a thought.

Look for a local canvas or upholstry shop that deals with boats. Perhaps if you give your location, someone will have a recommendation.

I had called BW at the end of the summer and just got a bunch of grief. Why would you want to change our seat cushions they ask?

I live outside of Philadelphia, PA

There's a guy in Santa Ana, California (L.A. area), who is legendary. He did all the work for Skipjack until they moved and he said he was just going to work out of his garage. Well, that's what he does and he is very, very good. You may have to UPS it back and forth, but Olivio is the best I've ever used

Feel free to tell him Kern sent you......

Kern O , you have to many #'s in that Phone #.

The last time I was at SkipJack's yard Ron Johnson was getting ready to take delivery of his new 36 Skippy hull #1

I've known Jack Cole (who started SkipJack) for many years, I think he is in his late 70's now. And still at it, I spoke with him a few weeks ago, and he is working on a new 22' single diesel/sterndrive.

Not sure if it is a CC or express, probably has a small cabin, he doesn't like CC's. I'll stop by his Costa Mesa shop in a few weeks and look it over. If there is any interest here, I'd be happy to post some pics.

The 36' was a very nice boat, I believe only 4 were built, the new owners of SkipJack (in Hesperia?) will still build you one though. It's a big 36'.

I feel his 30' flybridge was his best boat though. Jack Cole is quite a guy.

No they were still in Orange County.

It was wild to see Jacks X-wife fishing her own boat, BY HERSELF ,in Marlin tourny's
I think Jack took very good care of her boat though.
