Love to fish-going from Waves Cortez club location on a 20'skiff boat - first time

Hello, I am a Sarasota native (from 8 years old). Used to own a Bass boat to fish it was great but didn't take me to the next level. Now I fish using boat club boats (Waves Boat Club) as they have 2 location in Sarasota. I don't have to clean my boat after or deal with insurance, etc. Plus I can use their bay boats or offshore boats (they have a great CC sea hunt with a 250 yami). Generally, I fish for bait out of the passes. I am going to take one of their boats, a skiff with a 90 yami (I beleive). Sadly, I have never fished up in Cortez/Bradenton area - was recommended to check out this site for boating knowledge. Where to get bait fish - good spots, etc.....

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site. Happy to have found you! I love the ocean more than anything! Best way to enjoy it I find is with Waves Boat Club in Sarasota Fl.. I like not owning my own boat and just being relaxed knowing that all the labor involved in taking care of it will be taken care of by Waves Boat Club staff.... Always great fun and I've made a few friends along the way. My dad always said when you experience something as wonderful as boating it's nice to share it with friends See you on the docks

Waves Boat Club is a class act! I know the owner on a personal basis and can attest to her integrity and highly ethical standards, which filters down throughout the entire organization.

As a boater in the Sarasota-Bradenton area for over 25 years and the owner of several small businesses in the past, I am very happy to see a company such as Waves take a great idea and run with it. Sure, there are other boat clubs out there, but I would highly recommend interviewing Ms. Ellis from Waves before making any firm decisions.

I believe you will be most impressed, as I was.
