Default Backup Camera

Any one using one? If so, what type and manufacturer?

I would recommend a hard wired camera. I have a remote camera on my truck but in certain areas with lots of cell phones and radio traffic I loose signal. Might want to keep that in mind . Mark

Well my plan is to mount an outdoor mini dome to the bottom of the radar arch and have it pointed to the swim platform so I can see it on the chart plotter when backing up into the slip. We have one on our jeep. It is great for just backing up but it is truly outstanding when going to hook up our 19' DC to the hitch. I never miss and makes hitching a snap. No need for two people and the hitch never touches the bumper.

Yep, got the 1X2 in the first vanity call deal. Have held "Extra" for 15 years or so...... (Yep, one of those "OLD 20wpm Extras")

W5IT,

Do you have any HF capabilities on your vessel?

I had a set up on my Grady where I could put my TS-50 in when needed. Had mount for my "Outbacker" on the pipe of the top that worked pretty good. Next boat will most likely have a hard top. Then mount a SGC tuner and whip for HF.

No big boat right now. (Just two bateaus)
