Man i liked the older models but I really like the new model Contenders. The new console is great but I could do without the rear facing seat it takes up to much room. But as you know you can order this boat in many different Configurations. Beautiful boat all new and shiny!!! Jeff this boat has your name written all over it!!!Mark

The very first picture shows an un-flanged through hull with a tee fitting and two valves and a pump suspended in mid air.

That is not even close to being acceptable. The whole mess is held in place by a single nut without even a washer? I don't think so......

First, any through hull should be flanged. Second, any pump should be mounted, not hung on the plumbing. Third: To hang both a pump and two valves and tie them to nothing? No, no, say it is not so.........

Contender generally makes a good boat. I hope this was just done in time to make it to the show. That violates every construction standard out there.

Kerno,
On my 25 thewater intake looks the same. What you do not see is that the flange is fiberglassed in the flange and washer on mine is approx 2" in diameter. I thought the same thing till I went to remove it and change location because I was installing the B260. Beleive me it is flanged and was a bitch to remove....Mark
