Default New Ride on the way

I have a new ride to be delivered on Saturday afternoon. She is a 2006 SeaHunter 35, twin 275 Vrats, Garmin 12" plotter, Furuno 10", 4 kw radar, plotter and 2kw bottom machine, made in Princeton, FL south of Miami. She is one hot ride, made out of Carbon/Kevlar, strong, fast and a great fishing platform. Best of all she raises fish. Below is a picture taken in a Blue Marlin tournament in 2007 and was in one of the sport fishing magazines later in 2007. Will post more pix when she gets here.

I demoed a 35 SeaHunter with twin 275 or 300 Verados at the 2008 Miami Boat Show and know the boat well. SeaHunter makes a nice product and build boats one at a time they way they should be built. I do have some thoughts on the ride and assume you've taken her out in a variety of conditions. I'd enjoy knowing what you thought of the ride compared to other boats you've been on. Best of luck and she is sure pretty!

The ride is absolutely amazing. Of all the boats I sea trialed at Miami, the SeaHunter was by far the best ride in the 3-4 foot, washing machine, white capped chop, out of Government Cut. The faster you go the better the ride. Just have to get used to the speed.

This year I sea trialed the new 35 Marlago with the new hull design, 35 Triton, 34 Sea Vee, 34 Yellowfin. Last year I sea trialed the 34 Venture and 34 Pursuit CC. Some rode better than others, but in my humble opinion the SeaHunter had by far the best ride. The part that was the most impressive, was the faster we went in the nasty foamy chop the better she road, and that is how I formed my opinion, because I rode them all on the same day this year, back to back in the same conditions.

Holy crap what a rig! That is exactly the electronics package I'd put on a boat if I could afford it.

Too bad they skimped on the rod holders!
