Default I am addicted to Woody Wax!

This past spring, I was able to get some free samples of Woody Wax to try out. They came in packets with a sponge inside and the first time I used it, I was able to do all the metal, deck, and gunwales on my 23' C/C boat. Since then, I "Woodied" my boat 2 more times and this last time, I really got everything clean and got everything applied just right so the boat shines.

It is really nice that the crud/stuff, really does not stick so in between using the deck brush and Woody Soap, all I have to do is rinse down the boat and it is good to go. At least for me, I have had to reapply every 2-3 weeks as I do catch a lot of fish and with family and kids all over the boat, there is always some mess to clean up, but now that I have a new bottle, I just need to get me a soft brush for my Starbrite pole and I'll be good to go for the next application. Had I not been able to try this stuff for free, there would have been NO WAY I would have even considered spending $30 for a bottle of wax, but after trying it and seeing how well it works and how easy my cleanups are, my time and energy are too important to have to break out my bucket of soap and brush after every outing. Nice!

What's so great about it if you need to reapply every 2-3 weeks. If the stuff lasted 2-3 months that would be something.

At least for the deck, it works really well and no way I'd put any wax on my deck to make it any more slippery than it already gets. Believe me, I sure have nothing to do with Woody Wax and I'm absolutely not one to spend $30 on a wax, never mind one that only lasts me about 2-3 weeks per application, but when it comes time to clean up, what with dried blood, scales, guts, slime all over everything (you know how it goes) and I just have to hose the boat down to get it cleaned up, it is worth it to me. Getting a some free samples just sold me as like I said, if I had not tried it, I would never have bought it. Email Woody Wax and ask them for a sample and give it a try.

I put it on my decks and on the liner under the cap in the cockpit. It really does make cleaning up a snap. It seems to last me a month or so. The reason I use it is it is soooo easy to apply. I use a paste wax on the rest and I hate doing it even with a buffer.

I like woody wax, but it just doesn't last. I don't know if UV breaks it down, but I have to put some more down every 6 weeks. Rejex for the hull works pretty well. I has someone ask me the other day was my boat brand new!!
