Thanks all! You have an open invitation, Matt! Also, Pete, if you ever make it up this way, I would be happy to to show you our beautiful Carolina waters. The trailer that came with it is 1 year old. Unfortunately, the bearings had water in them whe she was put away last year. Ya know what that means? 6 new spindles for the ones that are shot (all of them) and a little fire on one wheel on I95 from Ft. Lauderdale to Stuart Fl. Hopefully she will make it the rest of the way - I've got good people taking care of it!!

Sure Chris, happy to have ya. You could probably carpool with Matt. I think you boys are in the same neck of the woods. Haven't been offshore in a month, but I bet there are still a few Mahis and Wahoo out there waiting for us. That coffin box on the front has a switch at the helm to open it automatically, can't wait to see it in action! Only problem with this boat is there isn't a head. I am going to have to get a porta potti installed since I'm not going 60 miles offshore with no facilities! Minor, but important, detail!

Well, finally got her up here yesterday and launched despite the tropical storm. Trailer needed 6 new spidles and 6 new wheels. Those mag wheels only allow for about 1/2" of stud to be used, broke 2 off so switched to regular wheels - good move, trailer was fine after that. Anyhow, started up engines (verados) and they are so quiet you can't even tell they are on. Jumped on plane and cruised up to my slip. This boat is bigger than I thought it would be. Been on a 31' Wellcraft CC, but this 34 seems way bigger. Electronics are very cool. 2 Raymarine c120's, TR1 Gladiator auto pilot, 4 ft open array radar, cmd-4 sirius stereo, etc. Hope the learning curve goes quick. I have always wanted that auto pilot. Have had Robertsons' & Simrad, but this is really over the top. If Rich's Inlet is deep enough to cooperate, hope to get some sailfish or anything on her later this week!

The 34 YF is a big 34 with that 10 foot beam. New boats always feel BIG and I'd bet in a few months it will feel small  |

Thanks for the complements, guys. Just got back from out of town after 2 day golf school in Myrtle Beach. I'm definitely sticking to fishing. Anyhow, taking her out today for a shakedown cruise. You are right Jeff, I'm sure it will feel small after a few trips, especially in the gulfstream 60 miles offshore. Previous owner had real estate problems, Kern O, but will bounce back soon, I'm sure. He's sticking to his hunting lodge in Montana. Will give you a call, Billy, when the fishing looks good for a stream trip, great idea!
