Default Sailfish 2660... Any thoughts?

What do you guys think of this boat? Good or bad. I'm seriously looking at them because of the rep they have, layout, and availability of used ones.

What rep.......That they suck. I hear 2 things about them, stress cracks and one of the worse riding boats. A couple of friends that I know have them and yes I have been on there boats. One has a 23 ft with twin 200 and he spilt the hull right down the middle another has the 26 and has stress cracks all over, leaning post is loose and the t-top is also loose. People say you get what you pay for. These boats are a perfect example. How can they justify charging $65,000 for a 26 ft boat when most other boats in that range run $90,000 to $110,000. Short cuts and using the cheapest materials on the market.
At a recent boat show they had a 23 and 26 that a friend of mine was looking at...... and they were full of stress cracks. These were brand new boats sitting on trailers that had not seen the water.
But then how can Grady White justify charging over $300,000 for the new 33 cc when most other are around $165,000 to $190,000.
If your looking for a boat and price is a major factor, look at the Sea HunT or Sea Pro.
I'm just calling it as I see it so don't get pissed off.

Thx for the input Blue majic. I keep hearing conflicting stories about the line and I haven't been on a test ride yet. I have looked at a few sail cc's and found 1 or 2 stress cracks looking hard. Hadn't seen any on a new boat but to be honest hadn't looked for them either. Doesn't Seahunt have a low deadrise, 20 degrees I think?

Had a friend who had the 26 with twin 150 HDPI's that I was out in several times. Not a bad boat for what it is but I was not all that impressed with the ride or quality. Lots of little things kept breaking and the wiring in the center console and bilge was a complete joke. The hull seems strong through and he did well on fuel economy.

He also did well on resale as he purchased it used, ran it for almost 2 years and sold it for a couple thousand less then he had into it. Once they take the new depreciation hit I guess they hold their value quite well.

David, I'm not sure what he thinks but I may be going out on it in a couple of weeks. He just bought it in July or August so I'm not sure how much use it's had. I'll let you know if I get out on it.
