Default Installing fire extinguisher mount

I need some tips guys. Installing a fire extinguisher mount. What would you do? Predrill some holes, put some 5200 in them, let solidify, then screw the mount in? Or would you smear the 5200 on the mount itself like crazy glue, attach the mount and let dry? I need some tips fast as the boat will be used this weekend. Thx

G'Day Dave,
Can you avoid screws entirely? Even a smallish item like an extinguisher weighs a bit & a long day of pounding will loosen any loadbearing screw in FG. I used small cuphead bolts with nylock nuts & SS washers to spread the load. You can still fish without the extinguisher being a permanent fixture.
