Default Yamaha 200 Vmax HpDI problem

I have a 2003 Yam 200 vmax Hpdi which has never given me any problems until recently. When I go out from a cold start it runs fine for about 10 minutes and then the warning horn blows. I wait 30 - 40 minutes for the engine to cool and then when I restart it, it will run the rest of the day with no problems. This has happened 4 of the last 6 times I have taken it out. The water pump is working well and no clogging of the intake for the cooling system. The mechanics can't figure out the problem. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
