Very nice boat, will make a great rig. Now you can start spending money on her.

Okay, here's a few more pics of her on a rainy, cold day at Buckhorn resevoir. Boat ran pretty good, I'm definitely going to have to learn how to handle a twin engined boat close to the dock. Praticed a little bit out in the middle of the lake where there was nothing to hit! My dad saw the boat for the first time today, got a little thrill out of watching him "hang on" All in all, found a lot I liked about the boat, and a few things I need to fix or work on. I put her new name on her today, thought that looked pretty good. Anyway, let's go catch some tuna!!

David, some guys will use just one motor for close in work .

And now I have a problem , I can't find a magnet that will stick to my metal boat.

I havta pratice the "twin" approach. I just had problems matching my brain up with my hands. That'll just take pratice. Trim tabs are a new thing for me too. I think I'll just use my old way of starting off with the motors trimmed down and then trim them up at speed. There's a lot of new stuff to get used too. Couldn't help but think of my old boat today and how easy it was to dock her. Also couldn't help but think how much slower that was boat was compared to this one!!! Sounds like a damn jet turbine @ WOT. Sorry guys, I'm like a kid in a candy store....David

Vettnman,
I have not heard a word back from them. Even put in the online form that my purchase time was 1-3 months. Should have said immediately.

Dude, I am SO jealous. The McKee 24, (or maybe a 28 if I really had $ and a full time beach water access house instead of sharing with in-laws) is my dream boat. I fish out of Holden Beach (most of the time) so if your're in the area and need a crewman let me know. I'll gladly pitch in gas $.

Good looking boat that Mckee, get a line wet real quick. Don't think you will be hauling it down my way in the FL Keys to soon with the fuel prices being what they are. We have a Mckee dealer around the corner from me I'll take a peak at one there. Catch em up.
