Default My new boat

Well, I have bitten the bullet. I have put a down payment down on a 2006 Mckee craft 24 TE. I was going to wait until I actually had possesion to show pics but things are coming along to the point where I feel comfortable telling you guys about this now. I should take possesion of the boat in mid april. I wanted to pay off some things (p/u, atv, etc), before adding a boat payment. That is on the way to being done now, so here she is.

She's a 06 Mckee craft with twin 175 zukes. We saw 55 @ 5500 rpms, and she had more left to give. Very quick to plane, hull felt extremly solid. Came with downriggers, electronics and other extras. Just couldn't resist this boat. Hopefully everything will come together by the June tuna deal.

I've always liked McKee's and came close to purchasing a 28 a few years ago. Best of luck.

McKee is probably my favorite boat. Hate I got rid of my 17'er when I bought the Sea Pro, but couldn't justify both with 2 college funds staring at me.
If McKee would rig them with Verados I would be all over a 22 or 24.

Almost bought a 22 before I bought my current boat...I really liked what I saw in the McKee I tested. Have fun with it.

Any idea what she was burning at 55 (mph, I'm guessing)?
