Raleigh boat show today
Well, I went to the raleigh show not really expecting a whole lot. It was a small show but the quality was pretty good. Saw the Contender 27T(sweet), Bluewater 2550(very sweet), Sailfish, Cape horn,HS, everglades(wow), and sea king. I really liked the contender and the bluewater. My wife especially liked it. I have a few pics that I'll post(mostly contender and bluewater.)first couple of pics are contender 27T

Bluewater 2550 pics. I really likes this boat especially rigged with suzuki 200 4strokes. Had a huge fish box in the bow, plenty of storage, and a hard top on this boat.Rear bench seating, boat is 28 feet counting armstrong bracket. Only thing not liked about this boat is the step up amidships. Supposed to make their storage and fish box in the bow deeper but I know my big ass will end up tripping on that. Overall, loved this boat.

Cape Horn 31. The CH actually has cup holders!! beautiful boat. I loved this boat 2 years ago and it still catches my eye from 200 yds away. This particular 31 was fitted with twin F350's. Liked the different look as far as color goes. Still no storage on this boat except for console though.

Dave,
Nice pics.Cant get over the step up and the two piece construction on the BW. Cant put those foward rod holders in for clearing rods and that step up??? Thats what kept me from buying a Reg. I just like a nice wide open flat deck for fishing......Mark

Sorry I only took pics of 3 boats. These were the 3 I really liked, not counting the everglades 240. Talk about options on a boat wow. But $100000+ on a 24 ft boat?? No way. Anyway, my jaw was hanging open looking at the everglades that I forgot to take pics.

Yeah, the step up on the BW I definitly don't like. I can see having a fish leadered beside the boat, with The rod guy backing up so someone can leader the fish and BAM! Rod goes flying, you bust your ass, and fish dies of laughter!

Darn, I miss being home in N. Carolina. The family and I drove out to the Richmond, Va boat show and was disappointed. No Contender or Cape Horn. The nicest boat I saw was the Chris-Craft center console. Striper, Welcraft, BW, C-Hawk, Cobia, and Scout boats were in attendance. I think this show was geared toward pleasure boaters. Which is understandable when you are this far inland. But I thought Eds marine would break out the Sea Hunts, Sea Chaser, Tide Waters, and CS boats. CS (carolina Skiff) came out with a WA. Nice boat IMO. Oh, I forgot we drove up to Eds store to check out some more boats since we were already so far from home.
Anyway, Souhtport boats will always be my dream boat.
