Default my story

I didn't want to type much in till I was successful on the download. Two bulls at 60lbs. We didn't know they were state citation until we chopped em up. Lost 6 more similiar fish all on the same spot. I didn't think they were supposed to school up at that size.

What did you do to save the reels [ not burn them up ] and what were they?

Default burning reels

I had just purchased them at Frisco Rod and gun. I don't know the exact models but they were pretty substantial Penns (black/$140.00ea. spooled with 50lb. mono). I took them back that day and they were fixed that night- no charge. You could hear the bearings shaking around inside. Caught more fish the next day with them and learned not to try and bull those whoo as much. It seemed after the initial run if you could just get them turned around we were more successful and easier on the equitment.
