Default Got Wasabi?

From a trip to the other side awhile back. Caught a few football sized YFT also and one was divoured on the boat along with a little soy and wasabi... This one, also the biggest, weighed in at 65lbs.

Looking forward to seeing this site really develop. Good luck!

Ok. So how do you make the pic more than a thumbnail?

Other side of the gulf stream, roughly 110 miles East of Port Canaveral in Florida.

That's a long run, but I love seeing that view right next to the side of the boat!

Okay, the last time we fished there was on an overnight trip about 3 years ago. We ended running another 40 miles east of the weather buoy, a total of 165 miles from shore. That was one of the best fishing trips I've had. We ended up catching 86 yellowfin tuna with just 3 guys while just keeping our limit. Talk about an AZZ wiping.
We would leave out of Sebatian.
Is anybody doing anything lately out there ?

It was about a 4 hour ride each way and we left around 3am to be there at first light. Well worth the trip though.

Truth be told 4 buddies and I chartered a custom sportfisher and slept in the cabin until we got there. We did the run and gun until 1pm or so and ran back. Had an absolute blast but it sounds like we should've gone a few more miles. 86 is phenominal!! Not sure if there's anything going on right now. We went during August a few years back and I believe it's more of a summer fishery. Probably just because of more predictable weather.
