JamisJockey....well my other hobby is Bicycling. (I'm a little out of shape this year, though....hey! round is a "shape"). When I'm on it, I even race a little bit. I'm a shorty, though, 5'3", and my favorite bike brand is Jamis.

(I'm a cyclocross fiend, though, and my X bike is a Surly)

Boat's name is Sugar Mama.....my beautiful wife is my Sugar Mama. I don't work anymore, because she runs a business now and my role is to support the household and help with the business aspect of her business.

Sugar Mama at rest in Alexandria. We went up the Potomac for lunch Thursday, just her and I and the boat. It was a hot day, but it was nice and relaxing.

My user name comes from my hobby/second job. I have a business called Bluewater photography.

The boat is still unnamed. After 11 years and 4 boats we have come up with 100's of names, but none that we're willing to put on the boat.

Ice Cream Man...........owned several ice cream shops at the beach. Fell in love with the coast when visiting my sister & reinvented myself when I moved to NC coast.

Retired to early from high pressure, back stabbing world of Motion Picture advertising - needed something to do, did not want to ever wear a watch, be anywhere on time, deal with dead lines or cater to the whims of overpaid & over indulged famous actors, irritable producers & pampered directors.
Traded my dress shoes for flip-flops & never looked back, until now.

Cat Man Can!........when my redneck friends started to accept me & my fishing skills improving, they would say .......... " That MAN CAN flat out fish......" . Was not sure if it was a insult or praise but it was an easy decision to name my Cat...........ICM

Well, I finally named my boat so I changed my user name to my boat's name: "Playin' Hooky"

I figured that I bought the boat to play (playin') on the water as well as a means to go fishing (hooky). If I miss church or work I will probably be "Playin' Hooky."

The name fits.

Blue Water Runner is now "Playin' Hooky."

Thanks for the name change Matt.
