Tax Day Fishing With My Dad !!!

My dad and I only get to fish a few times a year and when he said he’d like to go Snook fishing we set a date and things worked out great. We fished the entire evening using DOA Bait Busters in several colors on the outgoing tide. I boated the first fish which was a 32” Snook, he got the next one which was somewhat smaller but still a quality fish.



For the 3 hour trip we got 7 Snook with two being over 30” and 5 between 20 and 28 inches. The last fish of the night was a sweet Trout that went almost 23”. We also picked up a monster Jack.

Here is mine final Snook of the night that went 31”. (Dad needs some work taking photos! LOL)

Man nice job....spend as much time with your Dad as you can......I can only cherish the memories of fishing with my Dad....seems like yesterday......

Yea we had a great run at that spot as the fish moved to the Gulf over the past 5 weeks. May hit it one more time this Friday night.
