Got a call from my buddy Jason to help him get a boat from Orange Beach to Dog River at his brothers house. The boat belongs to a buddy of his who lives out of town and his condo called and said all boats have to moved with a named storm in the GOM (yea right). So off we go, it really wasn't a bad ride, the worst part was the light rain stinging like needles, Mobile bay was 3-4 feet of chocolate milk. We were able to make 16-18 knots with relative comfort, winds were a constant 30 knots out of the NNW so were head into them pretty much the whole way out of Weeks Bay. Here is a couple of short vid clips from cell phone.
