Capt---If u are gonna ask the question---Know the answer--If i said something this stupid on your boat--I would be in the drink----Answer----A speckled hind is right AKA Strawberry grouper/ or Kitty Mitchell// Kitty Mitchell gots its name from Old Salt, Florida offshore fishermen--Rumor has it that Kitty Mitcell was a lil cutie with red hair and freckles that used to get around with the Commercial captains--So they would use her name when they caught this beautiful red grouper with freckles---Man--u have taught me everything i know about bluewater fishing-Capt.--It must be that DUMB-KIDNEY inside of u trying to get out--

It is a Speckled Hind

I cheated & looked it up At first glance I thought it was a strawberry, but the strawberry groupers usually have red spots.
