Default Went out trolling with the old man today

After getting the 10 hrs of breakin done on the new powerhead Dad and I went out trolling to see if any bass were around, we found a couple, first 2 pics are of his 27 lb'er third pic is the 35 lb'er. We really need to work on taking better pictures, but when we get one of these beauties on board, my main concern is always getting them released so they can make more little bass and fight another day.

getting a measurement on length...appx 40" @ 27 lbs

This guy is such a ham in front of the camera

Getting the officially unofficial weight of 35.5 lbs...notice how he lost a layer of clothing, probably from workin up a sweat from fighting the first fish

Nice Bass

I have to remind myself that if I'm going to release I need to suport the fish with my other wet hand all i can so it's mouth is not damaged.

Those bass are a little tougher than most , I'm not bashing you , I am just reminding myself.

No Lester you are absolutely correct. It's hard to break an old dog of bad habits and those fish just HAD to have the weight taken. They didn't hang long, just a few seconds to get the weight and the camera was at the ready before the fish was landed, I like snapping pics with the fish laying on the deck and the angler behind it, like this one.....

Helps that she couldn't lift it anyway....

And this one, too bad all I had was a cell phone to take the picture with at the time...
