Default Building of my Yellowfin Bay boat

I guess I get to be the first one to start a thread on the buliding of their new boat. I have owned a 31yf and then a 36yf. I decided to "downsize" this year to the 24' so this should fit my needs for awhile. The motor is a 300 verado. I went with a stand thru t top. I will stand on top of the console with controls mounted directly on top of the canvas. It should be done this week.

I decided to have them lay it up with a kevlar blend.

Out of the mold.

Gas Tank

Decked

Jack plate and underwater light.

300 Verado

Console.

Stand thru T top.

Upper staion controls.

Power pole.

Top almost done.

Almost ready.

Will let the forum decide which is better Yellowfin or Everglades.

Good luck with the new boat Scott.

Great thread Scott.

I've seen the boat several times while it was being built and I know the time you spent designing just how you wanted it. You did a great job and I really like how the electronics box turned out.

When I see you on the water Friday evening and Sunday I’ll get some in water shots.

Scott,
Let us know how you like the stand through top. I am thinking about doing it to my T-top. The birdsall people said they could do the addition to the Birdsall top I have right now. I dont want controls just the Combing pad section added. Its amazing how much more you can see with just 4' of elevation....Mark

Thanks guys.

Mark, I had the stand thru with no controls on my 31yf. It was ok but I always wished I had controls up their. You are right that a couple of feet can make a world of diference in view.
