Default Grey trout arrived at New River

The grey trout are here....limited out pretty fast with a few Spanish and blues and a lot of blue runners on the side.

Nice catch. I'm glad I didn't have to clean that mess.

We call'em Yellermouths here in NE Florida.....Weakfish actually, right?

There starting to show here as the water temps drop, they show up from outa no where. Usually filled with roe. Spawning for them must be during the cooler months versus the Specks in May.

Dave they are weakfish.....grey trout to us. The hit the beaches pretty good until our water temps drop below 55 or 60* Taste just like a spec...and alot easier to catch!
