Default Lets see your boats!!

Hey gang lets see a few pics of your boats and what you like about them...Mark

2001 Contender 25Open....

This boat is very econmical for its size 28'LOA, Its much faster than the last boat I had, Great access to everything, wiring is the best I have ever had on a boat, Lots of storage space so nothing is on the deck while fishing, Fishing you can tell this boat was built for fishing in mind, lots of cockpit space, Easy to trailer, I get where I want to go fast and safe.

Default My Gas Hog

Loved this boat, but she just cost me to much, a 32 Regulator has to be the best fishing center consol out there, but the 26 uses alot less fuel and oil.

UNCWCraig,
What motors do you have on the 26 200 HPDIs or 4strokes. I took a sea trial on a 26 with 200 HPDIs and it was a sweet ride...Mark

I have had both. Last 26 I just sold had 225 four strokes and the new boat has 200 hpdis. I haven't been to the stream on it yet but it seems and I hear the fuel burn is about the same. She is much quicker out of the hole with the hpdis. I never have minded HPDI's. The 32 had 300's and I was really happy with them, other then their fuel use. We will see.

You will like the 200 HPDIs. I get between 1.6-1.9mpg on my 25 open.( Depending on How I work the throttles) The most fuel I have ever burned was out of Southport to the Steeples that was 93gal. for a 12 hour day. I thought that was pretty good. 170miles rd trip cruising out and back in at 3800-4000rpms 38-40mph.....Mark
