Default February 4th Report

Well it certainly was great to get back on the water for our first trip of 2012.

Bluefin Tuna was our target and Jiggin rods was our weapon.

Jersey Jay and the boys on board, some of our regular tuna jiggin crews.

We were lucky enough to find them pretty early in the day, actually quite a good sign of them, both marks on the sounder and visual sighting of fish on top.

They were pretty mean to bite though, we had several opportunities of great marks right under us, but no love.

We did have three bites for the day, hooking one fish, only to have the hook pull shortly into the fight.

Oh well, that is fishin, the fellas tried hard all day.

We ended up having some action over a wreck, AJ, triggers, and a big shark!

Good sign of the bluefins, they just need to get hungry!
