Well, just though I would give everyone an update that we were still here and just waiting on the road to open.
I have heard good things from the progress of the road and hopefully it won't be long now.

Looks like they are moving right along.
You can still get here by ferry through Swan Quarter or Cedar Island then through Ocracoke.
Here is the ferry website, you must have reservations of the Swan Quarter or Cedar Island, the Ocracoke to Hatteras Ferry does not require reservations.

A very few boats have been fishing sporadically but the fishin has been good, Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphins and Sailfish!
Fall fishin is right around the corner and we have alot of open dates particulaly in late October, as you know from the past this is some of the best fishin we have here in Hatteras.
Getting alot done at the boat shop and around the house in the meantime.
Can't wait to see hordes of visitors again, we need ya!
