Default September 13th Report

Man, I tell ya, it was good to get back out on the water.

Our friend Brant Wise, who owns the boat Swordfish

Swordfish Sportfishing - World Class Sportfishing

offered to let us run trips out of Oregon Inlet untill we are allowed to have visitors back to Hatteras Island.

That will now happen after this Thursday by ferry from the south.

Emergency Management Bulletins

Our friend Paul got blown out on his regular White Marlin trip with Arch on the Pelican, so he gave me a call to set something up.

Paul and Frankie were treated to a slick calm day on the water, and despite good conditions, the white marlins did not want to play much. We saw a free jumper early, and finally late in the day we raised a triple, and hooked two.

Nice lit up white marlins jumping all over the slick calm ocean! Quite a sight. Jeremy took some pics with Pauls cameras if they turn out, I will post them.

Shortly after catching our double header, a board and a school of dolphin found us and the boys quickly caught a limit of dolphin.

Slick calm ride home too!

Paper work Paul stikes again!

BTW we have this boat available to us to use, if they are not booked and the fishing up there has been good. White Marlin, Dolphin, a few tuna too.

Also, Brant takes the Swordfish to Mexico for the winter sailfish bite. He and I are talking about us running it for a little while down there, so if you are interested in heading down to Mexico for a winter warm up and some awesome sailfishing 20-30 day is not uncommon, give me a shout so I can gauge the interest.
