Great day for the Mike and the boys from the Portsmouth Boating Center.
Kind of a rough ride commin and goin but very fishable once we got out there.
We did not see anything for along time, then all of the sudden bluefins were jumpin everywhere.
We ended up for the day hooking 2 double headers and catching one out of each.
Rusty boated a nice 72" fish for our keeper, we let the other one go.
We did have the coolest bite though, We had hooked one, and Jeremy was clearing the other lines because we needed to back up on the one we had hooked. While cranking in the last short rigger line, a big bluefin ate it right at the boat while it was dangling out of the water!
Just as quick as they appeared, they disappeared, and no one had another bluefin bite the rest of the day.
