50 doves and 50 ducks for Miss Maybelle of Piney Ridge
We had a good day yesterday with 5, 2 gadwalls, one black, one woody, and one widgeon. Jeremy, Justin and I doin the shootin. All good fetches for Maybelle
She retrieved 99 and 100 this morning about 7:30, a pair of black ducks came to us, Jeremy knocked the big one down stone dead, and I winged the little one on the second shot, to give Maybelle some sport for a very alive black duck retrieve.
Her first season she retrieved no doves and 20 ducks.
Last year she fetched 30 doves and 53 ducks.
Very proud of my girl.
