Well, the weather finally broke, and we had a pretty day to chase tuners with new friends from Northern Virginia.
First thing in the morning, I saw a couple birds hovering and decided to set out, and we instantly ate up with a sailfish. He ate three of our tuna baits before he got hooked.
He was expertly angled right to the boat and released unharmed.
Shortly after that tune tunas found us. we started out cathing a triple of yellowfins.
Bout half yellowfins and half blackfins in the box today, although we caught alot more blackfins that were kind of on the small side, and we did not keep any blackfins under about 10 pounds.
The fellas probably released another 20-30 sub 10 pound blackfins. We had some pretty steady action.
Man, I love fall fishin.
Thanks fellas.
