Dove Hunting Report

Winding down from a great couple of days of Dove Hunting, I am worn out Maybelle is asleep in her bed.

Hunted in Suffolk with some of my Duck Huntin buddies from VA on opening day, is was slow to start but steady once we got them patterned in this spot that no one had ever dove hunted before. Maybelle got to fetch my limit and a couple more.

Hunted today with the Perry family in Bertie county. This is the dove hunt that I really look forward to. The farmer that invites us is really into his doves and he knows how to grow attractive sunflowers! Again Maybelle got to fetch my limit and a few more. She got a little hot today, and did not do great after I was limited out fetching other birds, I think she was pooped!

Nice work!! Took my 7yr old son on his first. He shot a 410 and was a lot of fun watching. I couldn't hit the side of a barn.
