Another great day with the world famous McGarvy Brothers.
I gotta tell ya, they are a blast to have on the boat, and I always look forward to taking them fishing.
Al called me at the last minute and said that Cabin Fever was running rampant in Baltimore and they needed to see some Blue Water.
They were treated to a beautiful day on the water.
We started out catching a yellowfin and a blackfin (bonus)
We had to jog up the line a little to get to the Bluefins, but it was not long before we had a bite and Bud boated a fat 65" bluefin.
We had a few more bites, broke a couple of fish off, pulled the hook on one. Al had an epic battle but the line parted close to the boat. Landed two more for tag and release.
We tried chunkin for a little but did not have a bite.
Marked the fish really good all day, I think they were just being a little lazy and not biting as good as they had been.
Good to be out on the water, back to the boatyard today.
