Default Repower Update

Well, I managed to escape the bilge to post a report on the repower.

Squeeky Jack Marine, got the mounts fabed and painted, the motor alingned and bolted in place.

Jeremy and I have been hooking stuff back up and re-engineering a couple of systems out of necisity.

We also had to re-engineer the motor hatch as we had to enlarge it on the fly on the install, we are trying to make it more sturdy and more user friendly when this motor has to be hoisted (hopefully that will be a long while)

Finally got the exhaust system configured and ordered, we will be waiting on that one a while.

next big thing is to cut the cockpit out, new fuel tank and exhaust going in!

Don't forget, we have the Capt Snag at our disposal if anyone wants to go fishin.

Pluggin along.

Damn, the cockpit will be fun...how many gallons does the current one hold? Are you going to increase capacity?

Looks like the bluefins are in town to tangle with too...

300 gallons, same as the old one. Gotta cut out the cockpit anyway to put in the new exhaust pieces.

Default Fuel Tank

While we are under the cockpit, putting in the new exhaust, we are putting in a brand new Fiberglass fuel tank.

Our tank is being custom constructed by Bubbie "the man" Crown at Crown Marine in Deltaville.

here are some pics he sent me of the construction.....
