Default August 3rd Report

Skunked.

It does not happen very often, about once a year, but it happened today.

We had Dan, Barb, Lya and Todd on board and I think they had a pretty good time boat ridin and fishin, but we failed to catch anything.

We even tried jiggin for the AJ's but the Cudas and or Sharks would not let us get one to the surface.

We had a crack at a Sailfish, but did not hook him.

I think we were one of three boats to get the skunk today, slow fishin for everyone.

However, Todd had the catch of a lifetime today.

This morning, while she was sitting in the fighting chair, he asked Lya to marry him.

She said yes. This was a first for the bite me.

I offered to marry them on the spot, but it would only be valid for the duration of the trip.

I informed the fleet on the radio about the proposal and everyone in the fleet offered their congrats.

Congrats to Todd and Lya, thanks guys, we will get em next time.

The happy couple.....

We were out there too Jay. Brutally slow. Amazing amount of current. I was wondering about just anchoring up and trailng some split bills back behind the boat! It was like fishing in a river. An empty river.
