Grand Slam.
Today was one of those once in a life time days.
Kind of a slow start, nothing that might hold a dolphin was found, so we fished offshore.
Bout 150 fathoms in the old hole, the left longrigger comes down, big hole bent pole, Purple and Black Sailure.
Jonathan on the rod, does an excellent job and brings about a 250# blue marlin to the boat.
We then mill a round and catch a handfull of dolphins.
A little later we had a white eat the right flat, Paul hooked him and while clearing the spread another jumped on the left longrigger, good participation out of rodney today! Well we got really lucky and both David and Charles caught Big white marlins, each about 70 pounds, the second one had no bill.
Caught a few more dolphins and we went lookin for the sail.
late in the day we hooked up on the sail, and my good buddy Paul Hunt did an great job bringing him to the leader for the slam.
It was Paul's first so he got creeked by the boys at Hatteras Harbor.
Great day thanks fellas.
Congrats to all.
