Default Custom Hunting Knife

Hi guys,

I've been building these for fun and figured I'd sell a few off.

This one has a blade 3 3/4" long, high carbon Brusletto steel, brass guard, M4 curly maple handle, sterling silver wire inlay on both sides of the handle. These blades are NOT stainless and they need to be kept oiled but they will sharpen and hold an edge like no other. It will be shaving sharp when it leaves my shop. Sheath is cow hide, hand stitched and sealed with sno-seal.

The silver wire inlay is done in the Rococco style which is the pattern used on fine firearms. I'm building a flintlock fowler this winter that will have lots of this type of inlay so I've been practicing on these knives.

The pictures don't come close to showing the iridesence of the grain in the wood. It is real nice stuff.

The price is $95.00 and this includes shipping to anywhere in the US. This is not a whole lot more than the price of the parts but I'm not looking to make a big profit on these. Just thinning out the collection.

Thanks for looking and you can contact me through the board or e-mail me at ken.moors@gte.net

Oops- I thought I left a reply the other day. I must have pushed the wrong key LOL. Anyways-Thanks TT. They are lots of fun to make. My eyes get a little rubbery after working on the silver inlay for an hour or two and I just about have to feel my way back to the house from my shop in the garage. MY 49 year old eyes just aren't as flexible as they used to be.

I'm really in trouble then, because if I do any detail work I'm in the same boat (but I'm only 23).

Might be blind, and will most certainly be deaf by the time I hit 49.

Nice looking knife!
