Default Monocacy River

Only big enough for a canoe, but there are some decent smallmouth and catfish to be had. And it's only about 500 yards from my house

I do a lot of smallmouth fishing, Lake George NY, Ontario, Eerie and the St Lawrence River.
Captain Sid thats probably the best place to catch nice smallies. A local off the beaten path stream or small river. I fish here in the Passaic river and also not big enough for a boat. All the traveling, money spent (wouldnt change it for the world) that i do and my biggest smallmouth to date is in my own town. Go figure!
