Venezuela - June report
What started out with a bang earlier this month, has slowed to a few fish here and there. The Frey party of two, who flew over from Margarita Isl at the end of the month, fished the Guarimba 28 & 29th - raising 5 blues, 4 sails and 1 white; released 2 blues. Kept two big dorados for dinner.
Had the Preston party on the Waterman 28th - for just one day: Jimmy sez "they caught 2/6 sails and 0/1 blue marlin plus 3 dolphin. Really nice folks. Enjoyed having them on board. They had dinner at the Posada del Hildalgo and said it was great. The weather was spectacular too! Please forward my regards and hope to fish with them again soon."
Waterman fished yesterday for a half day and caught a 500lb+ blue marlin. 0/1 on sail and two big gaffer dolphin.
