finally got the time to take the same boat out as the tests I quoted...The boat is completely filled with fuel - 2 people, 4 batts and O-5 mph wind - enertia 19's - 82 deg
Now if we really wanna make this interesting let's look at my data..
the e-tec 250's burn 24.35 gph at 4000 rpm making 35.2 mph
the verado 300's burn 20.2 at 4000 rpm making 34.8 mph
now going to my original post, I wrote nothing but to say that at $3.50 per gallon the etec burned 3 gallons more for 10.50 a crUIsing hour
with the v300's it's 4.15 gallons x 3.50 = $14.52 per hour
AND I MAKE 100 MORE HP!

I don't understand it...if someone posted two tests with a verado coming in last - I would post:
"Yup..sure looks like it - who cares, I got digital shift, vesselview, power steering so I guess I can't have it all."
