I think this is from the guys over at Henley, the boats are Bahama 31's. I know when we were there last summer, they had just rigged the first 31' with T/350's and Jeff told me that the Verado boat left the Yamaha boat for dead in a drag race.
We sea trialed the Verado boat and it was very impressive.
I do know that the Yamaha boat does pick up speed in the upper rpm ranges, and has about a 2-3 mph edge over the Verado boat at top speed.
No question which is the right power for this hull though, Verado all the way. Imagine that race with the new 350 Verados?
